Topic: Review for Test
Necessary Time: One Class Period (90 minutes)


Instructional Objectives:

  • This class serves just as a review of the previous material of this unit. Since there is no new material, I will just be working on objectives from the previous days. They could be found here.


Activities and Assignments:
  1. 10 minutes: Have the students answer the question in their journal: What was your favorite part of the evolution unit? Why?
  2. 15 minutes: Pass out the handout: Evolution: Evidence and Theory and have the students read quietly and highlight important information, or information that they are unsure of and needs clarification.
  3. 15 minutes: Go over questions about the review handout
  4. 20 minutes: Review using Powerpoint: \
  5. 25 minutes: Separate the class into 4 teams and play Jeopardy Review Game:
  6. 5 minutes: Wrap up, encourage the students to study for homework.
